Today we finshed the dumpster bins and we started making a hole for a door in the gym.
We were supposed to go to a Geyser Falls today but we decided to wait so we hung out with the group from Florida and some kids from the choctaw tribe. The boys played backetball and the girls watched, the Florida and choctaw won 21 to 19. Last night we went to go see one of are choctaw friends named Eric play stick ball. To play they use 2 sticks with little baskets and a ball woven out of leather. They have to hit this post with the ball to get a point. After dinner we plan to go to the Choctaw Museum and watch more stickball.

Midweek
I can't believe that it is already Wednesday. This trip has been so amazing. The day we traveled it was 103 and since we have been here it hasn't broke 90. We were told it hadn't rained in over a month prior to our arrival, and it has rained everyday ince we got here. Thank the Lord it is only raining over night or during our lunch hour so it hasn't slowed our progress. We have been able to accomplish so much more than I could have anticipated. We are easily going to complete the work we have been asked to do. It has been a real blessing to serve our Lord with this team as well as the Choctaw people. I have watched the team step out of their comfort zone and try new things and talk to people they may never had the oppurtunity to meet if they hadn't been willing to participate in missions. We just received word that John Memorial UMC has offered to pay our teams way into Geyser Falls on Saturday for the entire day($325). The missionary pastor, Jon Walters, said this is extremely unheard of and a big gesture of the appreciation they have for our team. In their culture when a gift is offered you must take it or it is perceived highly offensive. It is so amazing to see that people with such different backgrounds and traditions can agree on at least one thing, that our Lord and Savior has blessed us greatly. It has been a privilage to be a part of this team and serve our amazing God. I can't believe how fast the time has gone.
